alixandreaI was sitting waiting for my train to college today. And an obnoxious young man started hassling one of the platform staff. His train had been cancelled and he was demanding to know why... He got even more irate when the guard couldn't answer his questions specifically enough, 'why is the train cancelled?'
'There was a fault with it in London.'
'What do you mean fault?'
'I don't know sir.'
'Why don't you know?'
etc... And I wanted to stand up and scream at him... 'PEOPLE ARE _DYING!!!_ Every time you take a breath, another person takes their last under 1.5 MILLION TONNES of rubble. There are rescue workers who have been working solidly with little or no sleep, food, water since this all began. People are dying ALL OVER THE WORLD of the awful things that other people are doing to them, and all you care about is that you'll be in London 15 minutes later than you wanted to be!!! Is it really _that_ important??!!'
But I didn't... I just sat there...
