Snigger...
Mar. 31st, 2003 12:50 pmI'd like to say it was a roaring success, but really it was terrible. However, everyone who was _actually_listening_ enjoyed it, and the night itself was great fun - lots and lots of pissed people dancing like loons to very silly disco... ;-) Stef's mum is a fantastic dancer and I most enjoyed 'twisting' with her. And Stef, the bridegroom and I headbanged all the way through 'Run to the Hills' - requested by the poor groom who was a bit bewildered by the lack of guitar-music...
Having a car for the weekend was _superb_ and made me realise just how much I want another. But I simply can't afford the running costs right now, so the new improved Pandora will just have to wait. Erik and I did have a lovely Sunday though, driving up to Thetford and Grimes Graves (neolithic flint mine.) I accidently found myself doing 100mph on the A14 on the way home. Don't ever give me a sportbike...
Drove the kit to rehearsal and found I seem to have mastered singing and playing bass at the same time. Not sure how or when, but am immensely proud of myself for doing so... :-)
OK, back to boring work now. See you on the other side (recording tonight...)
