alixandreaI was on my way out last week when I found a letter to me posted through my door. It was an apology/resignation letter from Lui, the older of the two guitarists in my band. I called Stef, who then rang Lui and talked him down. Happy, fine rehearsal as normal.
I've just had an e-mail from Lui. Same sort of thing, but finished with:
"From my point of view I am having to devote more and more time to the free energy project and I am hardly playing much guitar at the moment. Besides, I have written 2450 songs in the twenty two years of playing guitar, why should I need to be in a band doin everyone elses? If in the future I have a bit of time to get into a band I can quite easily start my own don't you think?!"
What the hell is that supposed to mean??!!
Angry, hurt, upset, I feel like I'm losing my father all over again.
