Detox Diary
Feb. 17th, 2003 08:45 pmFeel free to skim this/not read it, as its mainly for my own record. However I want it public as a possible resource for others, and a chance to discuss whether it really works etc etc...
The detox is for a week, building up the amount/variety of food bit by bit. Following will be another week eating as healthily as possible to try to get myself into a routine...
Day 1
1 Large Pineapple
2 Medium Bananas
2 Litres Mineral Water
Herbal Tea
Eat pineapple for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat the bananas at least an hour after last meal, and at least two hours before going to bed. Drink at least 2 litres mineral water, and herbal tea as required.
I've had one peppermint tea this morning, going to have another in a minute. Can't believe just how much I notice hunger pangs these days, they bother me way more than they did. Also feeling a little lightheaded and dizzy, but this is to be expected I guess. Everyone around me is ill. For the moment I'm OK, but I'm hoping this won't cause too much of a dip in my immune system - especially as we have a gig next Monday. I'm taking Echinacea, Zinc and Evening Primrose, so these should hopefully help combat anything that comes my way, as will the sheer amount of vitamins etc I'm getting from the food I'll be eating...
