A year ago tomorrow...
Sep. 13th, 2002 10:57 pmI wrote my first journal entry, all about the WTC attacks:

Its one of those days that changes so many things. And as when Kennedy was shot dead, or even as when we won the world cup against Germany, its one of those days where everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing.
So where was I?
Yup. Proving (more to Stef than to myself really) that a certain member of Cradle of Filth wasn't really a terrible slut...
Anyway, I was there all morning, it was a beautiful day, and I remember cycling home and thinking how lovely the world was. I got home, switched on my computer and opened my mail. For the next half an hour I was transfixed with growing horror as events slowly began to sink in. At the start I didn't even know where the WTC was, by the end, after switching on the TV and seeing that fateful second crash on the continuous news, I was just... Numb. I stopped posting in my journal for a while after the first posts, as they were all about the attacks and aftermath, then when I moved I decided to make a new start. Really I should be posting more links to news, but I've stopped reading it recently. I am planning on being at the march on the 28th, and I still don't believe in America's reaction to the atrocity.
That is all for now, I'll be posting some lyrics later.
