Additional Cat Info...
Dec. 11th, 2006 02:14 pmSo, I helped Lucy move out this weekend (the day itself deserves a separate LJ entry, if I can stay calm enough about the whole thing for long enough). I found out some more info about the cats:
They are microchipped but not (as I thought) vaccinated. Lucy is prepared to have them vaccinated before they go to their new home however.
The little girl (Gala/Gally/Moo) is utterly adorable, very forward, friendly and affectionate. She looks just like a black-and-white patched cow, hence the nickname. I would have her, on her own, if it was fair to split them up, but I don't think Ziggy would be an acceptable replacement for her brother.
The little boy (Dali) is quite nervous and doesn't like being shouted at (what cat does?) He likes 'caves' and will be affectionate when he feels safe. He is ENORMOUS but not fat.
They are currently living with Lucy's parents and are very unhappy there (part of the reason I am currently INCANDESCENT with rage) so they neeeeeeeed a new home ASAP.
Tori - I can't get a signal in the office so if you've tried to call me today and got my answerphone, that's why! ;-) Sorry for being so muddled on the phone on Saturday, it was all I could do to stop myself from strangling people at the time... You can reply to this, phone me or email me (addy on my profile page) to let me know the verdict. :-)
Helen - I've found Niamh's microchip certificate. Can you email me your home address so that I can post it to you? Congrats on the pigeon BTW - I recommend it chopped up in game stew, best made with plenty of garlic, herbs and red wine instead of stock... ;-)
