All I want for my birthday is you...
May. 19th, 2006 02:19 pmOr more accurately, all of the following:
GUITARIST x 1 or 2 - Ideally one lead guitarist capable of classic heavy metal solos but who knows when not to 'widdle', and one rhythm guitarist who is creative with soundscapes and pedal effects. If you can sing, that would be an extra bonus!
KEYBOARDS/SAMPLE PROGRAMMER - Someone who could rival Sascha Konietzko (AKA Kap'n K of KMFDM) on samples/programming, with classical-influenced piano playing and pad sounds/soundscapes on the keys. Comfortable on a JP8000, Triton or similar? You're just what I'm looking for!
DRUMMER - Someone capable of both 'Animal'-like heavy-metal bashing, and more complex break beats and jazz drumming. Double pedal and love of toms would be nice but not essential!
BASS - Ideally able to play both fretted and fretless bass (maybe classical double bass as well?!) with complex melodies, occasional effects and a punky edge. Think New Model Army crossed with Type O Negative!
OTHER INSTRUMENTS - strings (especially electric violin) would be wonderful, as would some occasional brass/woodwind (saxaphone perhaps). The programmer can take these jobs though, if they feel capable!
It's not much to ask is it...? ;-\
