alixandreaRight, first of all - Tish, I'm really sorry, I'm going to have to blow you out for Thursday night. Its not personal or related to not wanting to work on the business or anything, but I really feel I haven't been doing enough to promote this gig (apart from the online stuff of course) and I want to go down to London for the LondonGothSluts meet so I can hand out more flyers/put posters up in the vicinity etc. If anyone knows where the Sluts meet is this week, could you let me know, since I'm not actually on the list anymore.
Some of you may have noticed Erik has his feet back again! We went down to London to do some publicity this weekend, and forgot to put plastic bags on his casts. Cue a very wet, very icky situation, which Erik finally decided to remedy about 3am Sunday morning in 'our' hotel (regular hotel we stay in down in Finsbury Park) with some wood carving tools, my flyer-cutting scissors and a hunting knife. The glass-fibre casts gave way like butter under the knife, and both of us were rather scared for his legs underneath, however he emerged unscathed and promptly went to have the first proper shower he's had in about 8 weeks! His calves are a bit wasted and his achilles tendons are stiffened, but all-in-all he seems to be doing very well. You may have noticed the rather joyful dancing (first time in 8-10 weeks!) last night - I have to say its great being able to dance with Erik again. :-)
Anyway, plans for this weekend - I have to be at the venue for 3pm so I'll probably be in Islington for most of the day. We'll be playing that night then hopefully Erik and I will be clubbing either there or at Slimelight (which apparently will have a Trad Goth night on!) Where we spend the night is anyone's guess, but I'm hoping it will be in London, since I want to go to Camden and get my Madonna piercing done the next day...
