Upcoming Skelliga gigs (test version)
Nov. 17th, 2003 06:49 pmGood evening all, just emailing the newest, most up-to-date version of our gig listings for anyone who may be interested. Dates are as follows:
Tuesday 18th November:
Skelliga @ The Pleasure Unit
Skelliga will be first up at this event, which starts around 8pm. Entrance is free and the atmosphere here is really nice, with a big projector screen TV, friendly staff and reasonable bar prices. We're on first 'cause we all want to get home and get some beauty sleep in readiness for...
Thursday 20th November
Skelliga @ The Junction
The is our Junction debut, and we're hoping as many people as possible, both from the area and outside it, can come. We're playing the 'Five Bands for a Fiver' night, which means you pay 5UKP, and get to see 5 great up-and-coming acts! Skelliga will be on third, so those of you coming from a bit further away can still make it home before midnight (and the last trains!) You can also get hold of the tickets cheaper if you get them directly through us: email me at alixandrea AT norse DOT org DOT uk and I'll reserve you a ticket for just 3UKP. Can't say fairer than that! ;-) You can collect your ticket on the door and the venue is open from 7:30pm.
Tuesday 30th December
Skelliga Christmas (Solstice) Party @ The Boat Race
Skelliga return to The Boat Race after their sell-out gig with The Rude Mechanicals and Rome Burns. We will be playing with "The @nti-Skelliga" - otherwise known as Subsist - MeadowMan and Cambridge favourites Trip Hazard. Doors 7:30pm, entry not yet decided but likely to be around 3-4UKP.
Friday 9th January (2004!!)
SKELLIGA + SWARF + THE SCARY BITCHES!! @ The Boat Race
Yep, back at The Boat Race again, but what a line-up!! Skelliga will be supporting two great Goth bands who have already conquered both the London scene and Whitby Goth Weekend. The gig is presented by The Calling. Tickets are 5UKP in advance purchased from the Calling website, or 7UKP on the door. The fun and madness begins from 7:30pm. Don't forget your hand puppets and scary headgear! ;-)
