I did the Saturday shift again today, I always hate it for one reason or another. This time had a rather laughable moment when an American guy walked in. He had our standard automatic car, and wanted to be paying less, so asked me whether it would work out better for him to go for a downgrade, to a smaller, manual car. We compared prices, and since there really wasn't that much difference he decided to stay in it, but complained bitterly about the cost to him in dollars. I told him he'd have, 'to blame Georgie for that one,' to which the American replied, 'he's the best president we've had in a long time. At least Washington is sterile, and there's no secret deposits in the White House.'
I thought about what he'd said and his meaning after he'd left. It dawned on me that what he was basically saying, was that it didn't matter if the President of the United States of America was fucking up his country, as long as he wasn't fucking his Intern...
