Nargh!

It happened again at the gig last night. I turned away from Erik in a crowded room to head off to the loo. I felt a hand on my backside. Thinking its Erik's, I sweep it away playfully with my following hand. The hand I touch with mine feels wrong, but I don't really think about it until I come back to find Oliver fuming, about to kill the little boy who's hand it actually was... Abd that was the thing, there were KIDS there last night, 15-19, hardly any over their teens. This _boy_ can't have even been eighteen, and certainly couldn't hold his drink. Erik and Oliver had a quiet word with the friend who was trying to keep the little sod in step, and they both left. Unfortunately not for long - they were back by the time Erik and I got fed up and turned to go. So in the crush of the crowd I pushed the _boy_ as hard as I could to get him out my way - so I could get to the door before I snapped. You do NOT touch someone without their say-so...

What is it with kids? It really wasn't that long ago that I was in their category, yet I remember being at gigs and saying 'excuse me' and turning sideways as I made my way to the bar and back(as I still do). But these little bastards were just shoving their way through, like it didn't matter. They had no manners at all. The moshpit was bouncing like mad for the first couple of bands, fairly skate-punk. The last band was much more hardcore, and for the first few songs the kids had no idea what to do, they just stood there.

Fucksake. Come on kids, learn...
