Well, maybe not, but it seems that every time Lucy, Erik and I go to a gig, some guy tries it on with either of us when E's back is turned. This time it was some slimy non-punk at the Positives gig, who grabbed Lucy's arse, turned her back around as she turned to confront him, and pushed her right into the middle of the moshpit, making her lose her balance and fall to the floor, narrowly missing getting trampled underfoot. I should have punched him, but being the pacifist I am, I just screamed 'that wasn't fucking necessary!' at him after I'd helped Luce back up. At first he laughed in our faces, but Luce kept on at him, asking him what the fuck he'd thought he was playing at and he eventually disappeared. I'd like to think he was scared - he had every reason to be, all three of us were fuming...

Anyway, the rest of the gig was great, ending in some really chilled out ragga to bring us back down to Earth. Funny thing of the night - there was a guy in the moshpit who was all elbows and fists, and he caught me a good one in my solar plexus. This would normally have toppled me, but because I was singing at the time my abdominal muscles were tensed and as such, I didn't feel a thing! Hurrah for being a singer! ;-) Its made me realise just how much stronger I am since Skelliga began, I actually have a rather decent set of upper abdominals. Wish I could say the same about the bottom ones though...! :-\

I'm out jobhunting tomorrow if its not too wet. If it is, I'll be at home making the spare room habitable again. No kittens until you clean your (bedroom) flat...! Must get up early to get things done, no more procrastination...
